Schneider's- What a wonderful place! We have had such a good time with our family in this beautiful building and playing outside. The swing was a huge hit with all the kids. We saw deer everyday in the field out back. We also went wading and swimming in the waterfall and had fun looking at the little fish, crawfish, snails, and salamanders. Tubing on the James River was fun and relaxing for the adults. This place is so quiet and peaceful-the perfect retreat. Thank you so much for letting us come and enjoy it. God bless you. The Hanna's

We just returned from a wonderful weekend with friends. The weather was steamy and the swimming hole cool. Thankyou for your generosity. They only think I would note for future guests is that while the accomodations indicate 12-18, there are only 5 bedrooms so some of our guest had to sleep on pull-out couches in common areas or triple up in bunk bed rooms....great for kids, a little tricker for adults. We managed....are stronger for it...and really loved the house. And that kitchen is fabulous!

We cannot thank you enough for making our weekend truly incredible at Warren Mill. The property is truly amazing and more than exceeded our expectations! We kept looking around and saying to each other, "this is just unbelievable". We live in the heart of Northern Virginia so it was particularly relaxing for us to enjoy so much open space! We loved the selection of books you have in the house-both for children and adults-and enjoyed reading about the history of the Mill. The kids spent so much time outside and loved running up the road when they heard the train! My two year old was fascinated with the pond in the couryard and spent lots of his time pretending to fish...And inside, my daughter was in horseheaven with the horses and stable, and the tractors and trains were a huge hit with the boys. Everything about the Mill was just perfect. We came back truly feeling refreshed and hadn't imagined we would be spending that much time outdoors at the end of December-but thanks to your sprawling property, the fire pit and the weather, it was possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I hope your New Year's was wonderful. If it is ever available again for New Year's, we would love to rent it again-or for another weekend in the spring perhaps-I will keep up with the vrbo site. We just returned from Memorial Day weekend at the Mill. Our party included six adults and six children under the age of three and a half! Everyone had a wonderful time. The children enjoyed playing with all of the toys, reading books, swimming in the creek, riding their bikes in the driveway, roasting marshmellows over the bonfire, and running around the courtyard and fields. After the children crashed in their beds at night, the adults cooked wonderful meals in the fabulous kitchen and ate outside every evening. The Scottsville Mill is one of the most unique and amazing places we have rented.
